Stars

Lightning is three times hotter than sun. The Sun is about 4.5 billion years old. The Sun causes weather patterns and ocean tides on Earth. The energy produced is 383 billion trillion kilowatts. The aurora is particles of the Sun that are visable from Earth. The closest star to the Solor System is Proxima Centuri which is four lightyears away. It takes Sunlight eight minutes to reach the Earth. The surface is the photosphere.

Supernovas are explosions that can destroy an entire star. A neutron star emits radio waves is a pulsar. The first star was discovered in 1976. Sunspots are areas on the surface are 3000 degrees cooler then other areas. The North Star, Polaris is one of the only stars that appear in the same spot every night.

Other stars are over 600,000 times brighter then our Sun. Gases and dust cool and condense into a nebula before it creates a true star. It condenses to form a protostar and then becomes a star.

According to their heat level white dwarfs are blue, white, yellow or red.
